I am currently in Craiova,Romania. After 20+ hours of traveling we made it! There’s not much to report on yet since we got in late the other day and now stuck in quarantine for two weeks. But you’re probably wondering how training camp went? So  let’s start there. Here’s what went down the month leading up to now.

Training camp was amazing! Finally meeting my squad in person was exciting. Yes, they are real not just faces on a screen, can you believe it! We camped, played games and worshiped together. We hiked a mountain and at the top found out who would be in  a team together. My team B.S.R.L.J + D ( Beast Squad Really Loves Jesus Dude) is myself, Savanah, Reynaldo, Lee, John, and our team leader Drew. They’re really great and I can’t wait to serve with them.

This is my squad they are the best!

When training camp was over I went to New Jersey with a few people from my squad. We were planning on flying to Jersey but after a series of unfortunate events (plane getting canceled, airline not giving us any options, and some other crazy things) we ended up renting a car and driving. So we spent the night in the airport and then ROAD TRIP! Anyone who knows me knows I love a good road trip. Since I was the oldest I rented the car. My whole 25 almost 26 years on me gave me an advantage, but down side I did not have a credit card. Luckily God showed up again that wild night. The guy working allowed me to use my debit card and told me I was lucky because he was filling in for someone that day and she would not have allowed that to happen! Thank you Lord! 16 hours later we made it to Jersey! Queue confetti. So we were living the Jersey life for three weeks. We had a blast playing volleyball every Wednesday, singing loudly in the car and eating way too much food… Also when I get home I’m getting a volleyball net.

After those three weeks it was time to go back to Atlanta, Georgia for the beginning of launch. My parents and sister were there with my nephew. It didn’t really hit that it was going to be a year before I see them again until after they left. I shed a few tears but quickly was filled with peace. So now we are in Gainesville for the rest of launch. We did some last minute training and then after a few days we are boarding a plane to Paris. A quick layover and chocolate croissant later we make it to Romania!

Y’all, we serve an amazing God! The way I’ve seen God show up those last few weeks in America puts me on the edge of my seat to see what He will do with this next year.

Alright friends that’s all I have at the moment I will be back with more later!
